Obituary For Edna "Louise" Robertson

Edna “Louise” Robertson, age 81 of Forestburg, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 in Decatur, Texas.

Funeral services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 2nd, at the Montague County Cowboy Church in Montague, TX, with Pastor Joe Caballero officiating.

Burial will follow at the Nocona Cemetery in Nocona, TX.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 1st , at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie, TX.

Louise was born February 22, 1942 in Tulot, Arkansas to Doyle and Daisy (Sisk) Helms. She graduated from Birdville High School and married JC Robertson on June 19, 1960 in Haltom City, TX.

She retired from James Wood Dealership in Decatur, TX after 20 years as a bookkeeper. Louise enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing. She liked collecting dolls and hummingbird knick-knacks. Louise was an animal lover and loved spending time with her dogs.

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandson Cheyene Robertson, and sister Doiline Eatman.

Louise is survived by her husband JC Robertson of Forestburg, TX; children, Connie Cozby of Rhome, TX, Eddie Robertson and wife Kathryn of Forestburg, TX, and Carmen Warner and husband Robert of Bowie, TX; grandchildren, Ashley Scott and husband Landon of Peaster, TX, Dylan Robertson and wife Lea of Rosston, TX, Kristina Robertson and David Harpstrite, both of Forestburg, TX; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Ryder, Autumn Robertson; and several numerous nieces and nephews.
