TYLER--Funeral services for Minister Willie Lee Clark, 69, of Tyler, Texas will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 1 pm at Tyler First United Methodist Church with Supt. Ray Beasley, eulogist. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Frankston, Texas under the direction of John R Harmon Undertaking Company.

Mr. Clark was born on March 9, 1954 and transitioned on April 19, 2023.

Mr. Clark attended LaPoyner ISD, he later transferred to Athens ISD where he graduated in 1972. He joined the United States Marine Corps and received an Honorable Discharge. He worked as a truck driver for more than 25 years and drove for Warner Enterprise. He retired from Mother Frances Hospital as a Surgical Tech. He was Associated Pastor of Upper Door Post COGIC.

He is survived by his spouse: Judy Clark; son: Jonathan Hudson and daughter: Candice Megafu both of Tyler, Texas. Grandchildren: Josmyne Megafu, Stadrian Taylor and Laila Harrell of Lancaster, Texas;Sisters: Brooksie Clark and Wilma Williams both of Athens, Texas. Sister-in-law: Christine Pinkerton (Ernest), Lucille Hayter(Jerry) and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Public viewing will be Friday, 2 pm to 8 pm at Upper Door Post COGIC, 1500 East Travis Street, Tyler, Texas 75701.
