Ms. Mamie R. Alston, age 67, of Warrenton, North Carolina departed this life on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina.

A HomeGoing Celebration will be conducted at 1:00pm on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Greenwood Baptist Church, 1175 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard, Warrenton, NC 27589. The Reverend Eddie W. Lawrence, Pastor will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mamie leaves to cherish her precious memories her mother, Grace Alston of Warrenton, NC; her siblings, Mable Carver of Creedmoor, NC, Doris Alston (Jessie), Vernice Alston, Ann Alston, Shirley Elam (Robert), Andrew Alston (Sharon), Brenda Twitty (Sheldon) all of Warrenton, NC, Charles Alston (Phyllis) of Williamsboro, NC, Jamar Carver (Tasha) of Youngsville, NC, a special friend Steve; one aunt, Florine Russell of South Carolina, one uncle Thaddius Towns (Priscilla) of Winston Salem, NC, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

She may be viewed on Friday, April 28, 2023 from 1:00pm until 6:00pm in the chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Services, 149 Holland Bland Road, Warrenton, NC 27589.
