Beulah Martin was born Beulah Walker on August 7, 1937. She was the fifth of seven children to Viola Sapp and Johnny Walker of Millen, Georgia. Beulah Martin is the last of her siblings to be called home to glory.

On April 13, 2023 the Lord saw fit to end her suffering. She spent her adult life in South Florida and later in life, she relocated to Quitman, Georgia.

Beulah enjoyed life. Amongst the many things that brought joy to her life, baking, cooking and fishing were her favorites. She was known as the Pound Cake Lady in the neighborhood.

For many years, she provided for her family as an LPN at North Shore and Jackson Hospital. Beulah Martin was the mother of seven children. Four of her children preceded her in death, Johnny Wille Phillips, Jackie Lee Small, Barry Lee Parrish and Jeanette Parrish.

She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory a loving partner, Belvin Lee King of Quitman, GA; three daughters, Linda G. Phillips of Miami, FL, Elizabeth Parrish of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Aniesa Elaine Atwell of Atlanta, GA. She also leaves to mourn, 32 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends who loved her and will miss her dearly. Visitation will be Friday, April 22, 2023 at the Stevens-McGhee chapel from 2PM-7PM.
