Mr. Sanders was (and still is) a man who operated beyond most people, but he did not consider himself to be above other people. His influence, his sharp eye, and his smile continue to live. Mr. Arthur Lee "Buster" Sanders is our Nelson Mandela. Mr. Sanders transcends race, gender, age, and socio-economical background. This note comes to send my sincere condolences to the Sanders family. Brother Sanders was a faithful and dedicated Steward at Uchee Chapel African Methodist Episcopal church during my tenure as Pastor. He was supportive and sharing in every effort/event that was held at the Church. Full of wisdom, he supported the house of God to his fullest ability. "Buster" was not only a Steward but also a supporter, brother and lifetime friend. His legacy will always be cherished and remembered. I pray that God will strengthen each of you during this time of his transition. Respectfully, Rev. J. Andrew Caldwell, former Pastor. Birmingham, Alabama
