Obituary For Willie Rembert, Sr.

Mr. Willie Rembert, Sr. was born March 18, 1926 in Cuthbert, GA (Randolph County) to the parentage of the late Carl and Everlean Ross Rembert, Sr.

He quietly made his transition on April 12, 2023 in Jefferson County. He joins his parents and five siblings: Amos Rembert, Willie D. Rembert, Earnest Rembert, Nellie McKay and Irene Scott.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. in the James and Virginia Davis Memorial Chapel, 725 Beech Street, Louisville, GA. with Eulogist, Rev. Dr. David Kemp.

Interment will be held at the Brinson Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 493 South Wadley, GA.

Mr. Rembert worked as a machine engineer for an appliance company until his health failed.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife: Orangio Eleanor Rembert, Wadley, GA; his children: Sherry Williams, Willie Rembert, Jr. and Ralph (Lillie) Hodges, Miami, FL, Gale Rembert, Douglasville, GA; his step sons: Ozzie (Sabrina) Palmer, Statesboro, GA and Frederick Palmer, Miami, FL; one sister: Louise Rembert Lawson, Cuthbert, GA; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
