Funeral service for Serena Jones 71, will be Friday, April 21, at noon at the Anniston Funeral Service Outreach Ministry in the Russell H. Williams Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jerrell Hicks, officiating. Interment will follow in the Oconee Cemetery. Mrs. Jones passed away on April 13, 2023.

Mrs. Jones graduated from Ophelia High School, Munford. Survivors include her daughter: Desere (James) Jones; grandchildren: Darius Jones, twins: Destiny and Jadin Jones; siblings: Jennie Adamson, Addie (Charles) Heard, Vera (Kenneth) McKenzie, Rooselvelt Adamson, Willie C. Adamson, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Addie B. Youngblood Adamson, her husband, Ray Jones, siblings, Bennie Kindrick, Benjamin Kindrick.
