It is with deep sadness that the enemy death has continued to rule as king for now. We were in the same Kingdom Hall in Manning with Wilbert for many years. Wilbert will have a short sleep in death and will soon hear the voice of Jesus as he calls out "Wilbert Lemon, Come on out"! This being in the same manner when He called out for Lazarus! (John 11:43) May the family cherish Wilbert's precious memories until then! Woodrow & Martha Sharpe of Charlotte, NC / April 19, 2023

Wilbert was a dear friend and spiritual father to me during my teenage years, and into adulthood. I am so extremely deeply saddened, but I know I will see him again in the resurrection on a paradise earth where "death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry not pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." (Rev. 21:4) We all long for that near future promise. I can't wait to greet him again with a big hug! My condolences to Ethel and Marty and the Lemon family for their great loss. Love always and forever, Ronda Abrahams Berendt-Santos
