Obituary For Buddy Brown, Jr.

Buddy Brown, Jr., 13, entered into rest, Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at his residence. He was a seventh-grade student at W.S. Hornsby Middle School and was loved by all his teachers.

Buddy is preceded in death by his grandfather, Frank L. Smith Sr; great-grandfather, Willie Smith Sr.; great-grandmother, Mary Briscoe; great-grandfather, Robert Briscoe; other aunts and uncles.

Buddy leaves to mourn his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Buddy and Mary Smith Brown of Augusta Georgia; sister, Anita L. Smith; brother, Keyeon Smith, both of Augusta, Georgia; uncles, Robert (Marion) Briscoe, Demar, Kameron Smith, and Marco Smith all of Augusta, Georgia, Sgt Frank L. Smith Jr. of Oceanside, CA, and Javar Smith of Long Island New York, Christopher Smith of Morganfield, KY, Lamar (Beonca) Smith of San Diego CA, and Robert Lee Waye of Orangeburg, SC; aunts, Rachel Smith, Selita Smith, Willie Mae Patterson all of Augusta, Georgia; Linda Thabiti, Ella Taylor of Hephzibah, Georgia; Dycerine Cain of Statesboro, Georgia, and Roger Belle Eason of Swainsboro, Georgia; the three amigos who loved playing their video game Fortnite, Elijah, Derrick, and Marquise Smith; a host of other beloved cousins, relatives, and friends.

A celebration of life will be 1:00 PM, Friday, April 7, 2023, at Grace Street Church of Christ (120 Grace Street, Augusta, GA) with Pastor Carl Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Southview Cemetery. Public viewing will be Thursday, April 6, 2023, from 2 PM-6 PM at Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home, 3618 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, GA. (706) 790-8858.
