Lillian Canty, 85, died Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital, Columbia, SC. She was born April 1,1938 in Manning, SC. A daughter of the late Johnny Canty and Pattie York.

Public viewing will be held Friday, April 7, 2023 at Hayes F. Samuels, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 North Church St., Manning, SC.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Union Cypress AME Church, Manning, SC. Rev. Mary E. Hamilton, Pastor, officiating; Pastor Rosa Mae Fulton, Presiding; Elder Wilbert Holliday, Pastor Catrena L. Johnson and Minister Tinika N. Cantey assisting. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery.
