Obituary For William Hill

Mr. William Hill, the son of Nora L. Hill was born on December 23, 1942 in Quitman, Georgia. He obtained his education from Washington High School in Quitman, Georgia. He played football while attending Washington High School. Mr. Hill loved football and he was one of the Brooks County Trojans biggest fan.

He passed from this earthly life on March 22, 2023. He was preceded in death by brother James Hill and sisters Ada Hill, Geneva Hill, Mary Newsome Miles and Estell Stewart. He leaves to mourn his passing, two sons Charles E. Hill, McDonough, GA and Michael Hill, Memphis, TN; three daughters Sherita Hill, Arkansas, Marilyn Hill, McDonough, GA, and Nicole Hill, Rochester, NY; grandchildren Charles E. Hill Jr., Christopher Hill, Shari Hill-Kelly, Brittany Hill, Asa Stacker-Hill, and Jacaree John(deceased); great-grandchildren Dallas Hill, Royal Hill, Jashantae Hill, Andaya Hill, JahaZion Johns, Jamaya Johns, Honor Johns, and Chance Johns; three brothers Dennis Hill, Sr. and Clyde Hill of Quitman, GA and Alfred Hill (Geneva) of Valdosta, GA; two sisters Apostle Rosetta Samuel, Conoley, GA and Janie Hill, Miami, FL and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, March 31, 2023 at the Stevens-McGhee chapel from 3PM-7PM.

Home going services will be Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Sweetfield Missionary Baptist Church at 3PM. Burial will follow in the Sweetfield Church Cemetery. Visit this website or our Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home Facebook page to view a livestream of the celebration.
