Obituary For Janet D. Alston

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.

Ms. Janet D. Alston, of Warrenton, North Carolina, departed this life on Tuesday, March 28,2023, at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 8,2023 at 11:00AM in the sanctuary of St. Stephen Baptist Church, 3319 NC Hwy 58, Warrenton, N.C.,27589. Elder J. Douglas Taylor will be officiating.

Janet leaves to cherish her everlasting memories: her son Samuel Perry of Warrenton, N.C.; mother, Rosa L. Alston of Warrenton, N.C.; two brothers, James O. Alston, Jr. (Miriam) and Jerald O. Alston both of Warrenton, N.C.; one sister, Jamesa O. Alston of Mauldin, S.C.; five grandchildren, Qadree’, Janiya, Daja, Jada and Samaria; five nieces and nephwes’ Syrita, Jerald, Jailai, Nijaya, Jakai; one special great niece Melody; aunts and uncles, Dorthy, Jennie, Shelia and Sydner all of New York, Mary of Florida, William Jr. , James(Tee) and Freda all of Warrenton, N.C.; two great aunts Leatha and Geraldine both of Warrenton, N.C.; along with a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends and classmates.
