Mr Nations was a truly wonderful person and a great teacher. I have the greatest memories on watching SNL on Mondays, him allowing us the freedom to choose what we wanted to write about, and how kind and funny he was. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

Mr. Nations was a great teacher, in large part, for the character traits he modeled to his students. We need more of that in this world. He had such a kind and gentle approach to life. I'm thankful to have known him.

Ronnie Nations was my son's English teacher but most of all he taught the love of U. I. L. One Act play. Ronnie was a great and giving human, someone who touched many young lives. Tjwanah Smith, De Leon

I am a Bowie transplant the last 12 Years. Ronnie always was kind to all persons drinking coffee at McDonald's. Laughing and conversation sharing his love for God. Thinking of your family. Veta

I take walks in Elwood Cemetery and I often saw Ron walking there too. He always greeted me with a smile and a wish for me to have a good day. He was always cheerful and I have missed seeing him there. But I know he's seeing Jesus high and lifted up, standing in the light of His glory. I look forward to seeing Ron again when I get home too.
