Daysha was one of the most loving and selfless person you could ever meet. She loved her family, friends, and church family deeply and would do anything to help, support, and encourage those she loved. She will be missed and remembered by the many lives she touched.
Daysha worked at Silverstein Institute ENT for ten years. She started as a Patient Relations Representative and after several promotions her last position was Surgery Scheduler. Even during her diagnosis and treatment, she stayed committed to her job displaying some of her greatest characteristics, perseverance and dedication. Daysha completed LPN Nursing School in October 2021, with plans to advance in her career.
In October 2022, Daysha became a published Amazon author producing her first journal titled,“40 Days of Praise, Morning Inspirations From The Heart”. She hosted her first book signing on February 4, 2023 with a standing room only sold out event with her family, friends and community members in attendance supporting her event.
Daysha was a faithful member of New Hope Holiness with Deliverance Ministries, Inc under the Leadership of Apostle Larry Johnson and the late Pastor Sheila Johnson. She was the Praise & Worship Leader, an Intercessor, and an ordained Prophetess. She served as the Youth Coordinator for several years before becoming ordained, but her heart was always for the youth in the church and outside the church.
Daysha met the love of her life, Charlie in 1998. The two were married in 2000. Their amazing twenty-five year love story yielded four children, Jacques, Charde’ja, Charmeria, and Jadarrien, whom she loved with all her heart. Charlie was a devoted and loving husband and directly from the words of Daysha to her husband, “There's no one else l would want in my corner, God gave me you and you me. Thank you for honoring our vows to the fullest cause when I was healthy you were there and in sickness you're standing in the paint, catering to my every need. I'm so in love with everything about you, from the way you look at me, to your gentle touch.”
Daysha leaves to cherish her memories: a loving husband, Charlie; four children, Jacques Douglas, Charde’ja Douglas, Charmeria Douglas, and Jadarrien Douglas; Father, Al Spires; Bonus Dad, Steve Brown; nine siblings, Crystal Brown-Lodge(Roderick), Steven Brown, Jessica Johnson, Jalen Smith, Davian Spires, Shaquille Brown, Destiny Spires, Ariyanna Henry, and Trayshawn Spires; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, god children, god brothers, god sisters, friends, and her loving New Hope Church Family.
