Mr. Phillip Woods, 61, of Columbus, GA formerly of Phenix City, AL passed Sunday, March 26, 2023 in Columbus, GA.
Funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. EST Saturday, April 1, 2023 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Percival Woods, officiating. Burial to follow in Alexander Abercrombie Cemetery, Phenix City, AL. Visitation is Friday, March 31, 2023 from 3-5 p.m. EST.
Mr. Phillip Woods was born February 8, 1962, the son of the late Leroy Woods and Annie Mae Woods.
Mr. Woods attended Mount Olive High School and graduated with the class of 1980 and was employed by Leon Jordan Boating Company.
He is preceded in death by his father, Leroy Woods; son, Phillip Shaquill Woods, and two brothers, Leon Woods and Charles Reed Joseph.
He leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Annie Mae Woods of Phenix City, AL; children, Phillip Bellamy, Tavon Taylor, Lachandra Woods, Vincent Taylor, and Dennis Taylor all of Phenix City, AL; one brother, Leroy (Lawanda) Woods, Jr.; three sisters, Brenda (Sherman) Arthur of Pooler, GA, Glenda Harris of Columbus, GA, Rose (Bernard) McKissic of Crawford, AL and a host of grandkids, aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who loved him and will miss them dearly.
