Ms. Alanna Marie Johnson, 30, of Columbus, GA passed Thursday, March 23, 2023 in Hamilton, GA.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. EST, Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Mt. Missouri Baptist Church, Hurtsboro, AL with Rev. Dr. C.L. Carlise, pastor and Rev. Ike Richardson, officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is Friday, March 31, 2023 from 2-5 p.m. EST.

Ms. Alanna Marie Johnson 30, was born June 20, 1992 at Fort Benning, GA to Ward Alan Johnson and Tammy Marie Johnson.

Alanna attended school in the Lee County School System and graduated from Smith Station High School in 2010. She was loving, friendly and never met a stranger. Alanna enjoyed being a mother and spending time with her children and family.

She had many friends and always saw the best in everyone. Her smile lit up every room that she entered and was very outgoing. She worked at Walmart on Gateway Rd in Columbus, Georgia until her demise. She truly has gone too soon and will be sorely missed. Alanna was a beautiful soul inside and out.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, James Edward Dix, Sr.; her infant brother, Joseph Alan Johnson and maternal great aunt, Lula Mae Williams.

She leaves to cherish her memories her father, Ward Alan Johnson; mother, Tammy Marie Johnson; son, Joshua Bond-Johnson (10) of Sandy Springs, GA; daughter, Hanna Joy Johnson (2) of Columbus, GA; two sisters, Candace Lynn Dix and Allison Marina Johnson both of Columbus, GA; maternal grandmother, Annie B. Dix of Phenix City, AL; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Bennie Mae Johnson of Hurtsboro, AL; two uncles, James Edward Dix, Jr. of Phenix City, AL and Jeffrey Lee Dix (Vickie) of Troy, AL; paternal aunt, Janet Taylor of Phenix City, AL; two maternal aunts, Valerie Dix and Kathryn Dix both of Phenix City, AL; two maternal great uncles, Willie (Sarah) Chappell and Rev. Walter Dix, Sr.; one maternal niece, Marleigh Essence Johnson; three cousins, Amauri Jakes, Jayden Spearman, Dorian Dix; three paternal Joselyn Smith, Jennifer Robinson and Jeffrey Taylor and a host of other cousins and friends.
