Memorial service for David Strickland, Sr., 68, will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel, Reverend Jerry Dowdell will officiate.

Mr. Strickland, who passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023 in Columbus, GA, was born October 2, 1954 in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. He leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Esther Abuga of Kenya, Africa; son, David Strickland, Jr.; two grandchildren, DaiAuna M. Strickland and Adaysha R. Strickland of Aliquippa, PA; five siblings, Warren H. (Darlene) Strickland, Jr., of New Brighton, PA, Anna S. Lindsey of Hogansville, GA, James D. Strickland of Aliquippa, PA, Reverend Robert (Colleen) Strickland of Opelika, AL and William Strickland of Auburn, AL; special cousins, Gwen S. Johnson of Atlanta, GA, Loranna Simmons of Warren, OH and JoAnn (Cody) Blackmon of Auburn, AL; special friend, Ursula F. Riggins of Aliquippa, PA; a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
