MR. VIRGIL RAY HAMMONTREE, JR. – Age 58, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023. He was born November 06, 1964. He enjoyed fishing and working on electronics. He is preceded in death by his father, Virgil Ray Hammontree, Sr.

Ray is survived by his mother, Paulett (Ralph) Davis; sisters, Cheryl Dewana Clark and Holli (Tom) Hess; niece, Evie Capehart; nephews, Zach Hess, Elijah Hess; aunts and uncles; companion, Lisa Daugherty; cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Graveside Service will be Friday, March 10, 2023 at 2:00 P. M. at Sugar Creek Cemetery, 360 Sugar Creek Rd, Cleveland, TN 37323, with Rev. Daryl Ballew, Eulogist and Rev. Justin Lively, Officiant. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 A. M. – 1:00 P. M. at Willis Funeral Home. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Dalton, Georgia.
