Mrs. Jeanie Lucille Moore Farrar, 79, was born on Friday, May 21, 1943 and departed this life on Saturday, March 4, 2023.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 8021 Stagville Rd., Bahama, NC, visitation service from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, funeral service starts at 1:00 pm. Burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Church Cemetery.

My sweet and loving aunt Jeanie! You know I always loved you. Ill Will always smile knowing I got the sweet potato pies recipe, finally right. Your improvement has been much needed over these last few years. Your encouragement was so pure; I kept trying to make your famous "Fried Chicken" and still couldn't get it right. I met Mrs. Jeanie about 5 years ago and her smiled always warmed my heart. We would have brief discussions of the Bible and when I left, I would feel refreshed because of her humble spirit. I will miss my friend and Jesus said at John 5:28 All those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out. I long for that time when me and my friend will be reunited. My deepest sympathy to the Farrar family because we have lost a kind and sweet individual. Love Rosie Richardson.
