Mr. Carl B. Gant, 56, entered into rest, Tuesday, February 28, 2023, in Piedmont Augusta Hospital. He graduated from Augusta Richmond Academy and was employed as a finance manager at Kia of Augusta. He was a member of Beulah Grove Baptist Church.

Carl leaves to mourn, the love of his life, “Mama Dukes,” Alberta Wade; one daughter, Kiara Brown; one son, Carl Gant, Jr.; two grandchildren, Master Carl Gant, III and Carlia Gant, both of Texas; fiancé, Carolyn Grant, of Atlanta, GA; one aunt/sister, Linda (Arnold) Roberts of Augusta, Ga; one uncle, Darwin Barton of Augusta, GA; a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be 12:00 Noon, Friday, March 10, 2023, at Ross Grove Baptist Church (1020 10th Avenue-Augusta, GA) with Rev. Gordon Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Olive Memorial Gardens. Public viewing will be Thursday, March 9, 2023, from 2:00 PM-6:00 PM at Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home, 3618 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, GA.
