Mr. Jerry L. Jenkins, 61, entered into rest, Saturday, February 25, 2023, in Augusta University. He graduated from Hephzibah Comprehensive High School. He was employed as a mechanic for Cheesborough’s Automatic Transmissions.

Jerry’s legacy will be cherished by a son, Solomon Hargrove; grandchildren, Solomon Hargrove, Jr., and Leinani Hargrove; siblings, Julia Mims, Daisy Bell, Minnie (Alfred) Mealing, Bennie Jenkins, Jr., Gladys Jenkins, Leroy (Annette) Jenkins, Rosa Gilmore, and Robert Jenkins, Sr.

A celebration of life will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at the Historic First Ebenezer Baptist Church (2040 Ebenezer Drive-Hephzibah, GA), with Rev. Moses D. Anderson officiating.
