So glad I went to the court house back in January. I had not been since covid. Terry and I talked probably longer than I have ever talked to him. We covered the gambit in what we talked about but most of our talk involved growing and eating garden food. He really loved my wife's cooking and always said something about it. He was a rare guy and will be missed. I never saw him not smiling and one always left more cheerful for chatting with him. Smile on Brother!!!

There are no words to express our heart felt less of our pastor, our leader, our mentor, our guider our friend. This man not only talked the the talk, but walked the walk in daily life. He offered nothing but encouragement for any given situation. He has truly left a sudden void in our church and our lives, and will be missed so much. We take peace and comfort knowing he is walking the streets of gold praising the lord in paradise and we will be celebrating with him again someday. Rest easy Pastor we love you!

Everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together. Pastor Hambrick understood his assignment handed down by God. He believed it's not just enough to succeed if your community is struggling. You have to try to pull people up with you and he demonstrated this through the many student lives he mentored. When it is realized that the fallen man must seek in the child the help for his salvation, human society will be rebuilt and redeemed. Rest well Pastor, you've gained your wings for a job well done. My sincerest condolences to his parents, wife, children, siblings, friends and the many lives he touched along his path. Billie (Neal) Gist - Houston, Texas
