Obituary For Kimberly L. Johnson

On Sunday, February 26, 2023, Kimberly L. Johnson 48, of Cardinal Ln., Martinsville transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, Winston Salem, NC. She was born in Oklahoma on November 17, 1974, the daughter of Ronald Allen Brewer, and Maureen Dibeni Brewer, who preceded her in death.

Kimberly was a member of St. Paul High Street Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Martinez Johnson of the home; two sisters, Marion Brewer of Far Rockway, and Nicole Brewer of Long Island, NY; one brother, Frank Fontana of NC; six beloved dogs; five aunts, Karen Brewer of Shirley, NY, Lynn O’Shaunessy of Brooklyn, NY, Joyce Brewer of Huntington Park, CA, Carla, and Terry Molinaro of Centereach, Long Island, NY; mother-in-law, Delveta E. Hairston of Martinsville, VA; father-in-law, Charles Dillard of Martinsville, VA; step-son, Nichloas Johnson of Martinsville, VA; and a host of other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at 3 p.m. at the C.R.V. Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home, 301 Fayette St., Martinsville with Pastor Matthew Brown, Eulogist. Burial will be private. A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Hairston Funeral Home between the hours of 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Other times, the family will be receiving friends at the home, 1315 Cardinal Ln., Martinsville.
