Obituary For Eric Bernard Collins

Funeral service for Eric Barnard Collins 55, will be Thursday, March 2, at 1 pm at the Peace and Goodwill Baptist Church with Pastor Christopher Jacobs, officiating. Interment will follow in Eden Hills Cemetery.

Mr. Collins passed away on February 22, 2023 at University of Alabama Hospital, Birmingham. Mr. Collins' remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service. Mr. Collins graduated from Anniston High School in the Class of 1987. He attended Lawson State Community College with a certification in Plumbing. He was also known as Dirty South DJ.

Survivors include his son: Joshua Burnett; sister: Deshannon "Tasha" (Jessie) Sniders; niece: Shantequa; nephew: Jamal; Godmother: Louise Moore; aunts: Opal Pilot; Linda P. Williams; special friends, Latonya Chapman, Denise Watkins. other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorthey Jean Collins Smith, grandmother, Lillie Pearl Collins, uncle, Charles Collins.
