Obituary For Alma Marie Slade

Alma Marie Slade,82, of the Historic James City Community passed Friday, February 24, 2023 at her residence.

Viewing hours are 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM, Thursday; Friday 10:00 to 5:30 PM at the Mortuary.

Her service is 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Mt. Shiloh M. B. Church 307 Scott St. James City Community, New Bern. The interment will follow at the Meadows Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughters, Jacqueline Slade of New Bern, Dana Johnson, Mt. Holly, NC; four sisters, Chelsie Slade, Neater Slade, Jo Ann Slade all of New Bern and Alene Slade of New York; one grandchild and one great grandchild.

Jackie, and family, I am sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Alma. I remember the earlier years when she met my father from a previous job, and then we (Jackie and I began working together) I enjoyed conversations and laughter when we would meet.
