Obituary For William Robinson Robertson Jr.

William (Robinson) Robertson Jr., 77, passed away on February 11, 2023, in Warner Robins, GA.

William was born on September 18, 1945 in Perry, GA, to William Robinson Sr. and Hattie Lou (Durham) Robinson.

William attended school and was educated in the Pulaski and Houston County School systems. He entered the workforce at an early age. Working on Robins AFB during the Vietnam era and several years of construction work. Upon becoming disabled, he worked part-time doing security in Macon and Fort Valley.

William had a great love for fishing and went often until his health wouldn't allow him. He loved to watch the Atlanta Braves, Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Falcons. One of his favorite sayings was "Study Long, Study Wrong..." He always stayed abreast of everything going on in the middle Georgia area. He loved to talk to people and he could strike up a random conversation with anyone.

William is survived by his wife of 33 years Mrs. Everlene Robertson, Shabazz McKenzie Sr. (Carlita) - son, of Augusta, Ricky McKenzie - son, of Warner Robins, Everett Robinson (Jacquelin) - son, Michael Robinson - son, and Sholondria Little - granddaughter, of Hawkinsville, Demaria' McKenzie - grandson, of Marietta, Shabazz McKenzie Jr. - grandson, US Army Fort Hood, TX, MarQuez McKenzie - grandson, US Army in Alaska, Tyrone Wright - great-grandson, Calandria Little - great-granddaughter, Terry Wright - great-grandson, Makayla McKenzie - great-granddaughter, Asiana McKenzie - great-granddaughter, Kehlani McKenzie - great-granddaughter, Brielle Jones-McKenzie - great-granddaughter. His siblings include Jimmie Mae Robinson-Copeland - sister, of Perry, Gloria Robinson-Stokeling - sister, of New Jersey, Sandra Robinson - sister, of Atlanta, Joyce Robinson-Jones (Anthony) - sister, of Atlanta, Calvin Robinson - brother, of Nebraska, Sherrie Robinson- Davis - sister, of Detroit, Terri Robinson-Spivey - sister, of Perry, Stephenson Robinson(Phyllis) - brother, of North Carolina, Christopher Robinson - brother, of Perry. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

William is preceded in death by his Father, Mother and daughter Angela Little-Cheese (Leon).
