OBITUARY:

Colonel Jordan was born on December 24, 1951, to Nate Keyes and the late Ethel Mary Coleman Taylor.

Colonel was a graduate of Lanier High School, Class of 1969. "833 Nation" also known during that time as the "Baby JSU" and a Member of the Lanier High School Marching Band Drum Line.

Colonel enlisted in the United States Army, the United States Air Force and the United States Navy. He was a dedicated and committed soldier. This was his career of passion and duty for over 20+ years.

Colonel accepted Christ at an early age at Hyde Park Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Dr. Leon Bell. Colonel enjoyed singing in the choirs, usher board and Baptist Training Union. He rededicated his life and joined the First Hyde Park Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Terry Davis.

Colonel was preceded in death by his mother. Ethel Mary Coleman Taylor; wife Brenda Jordan; brothers: Marshall Coleman and Kenneth Keyes; sisters; Pamela Coleman and Wendy Knight.

Colonel leaves to morn, his father, Nate Keyes; children: Kimberly Jordan Ramirez(Texas); Jay Jordan (Texas); Jonathan Jordan (Millington, TN); step sons: Joshua Hilliard(Gulfport, MS) & Kenneth (Marilyn) Hilliard(Texas) brothers: Ronald J. Coleman & Joe Keyes; sisters: Mable Coleman, Deborah Mclaurin, Agnes Keyes and Betty Jo Keyes (Jackson, MS).; grandchildren: Alexis Jordan (Millington, TN)Briana Galindo, Michael Jordan, Clarissa Ramirez, Yolanda Ramirez, Gabriel Ramirez (Texas), host of other grandchildren. nieces: Nicole, Kenyatta, Dekee, Deondra and Martina Coleman; nephews: James, Donald, Matthew and Breland Coleman and great granddaughter Elena Sungia, host of aunts, uncles and other relatives.
