Obituary For Tynesia Nicole Delaney

Tynesia Nicole Delaney, age 44, of Knoxville, Tennessee departed from her family and this world on Sunday, February 20, 2023.

Tynesia Delaney was born on June 5th, 1979 to her parents Robert Pannell Sr and Zulenia Lamar. She attended Maynard Elementary, Bearden Middle School, and Beardsley High. She loved her family, to cook, her many different genre of music, and to have dance battles with her nieces and nephews. Tynesia was the life of the party at any of the family functions.

Tynesia Delaney is preceded in death by her grandmother Geneva Freeman, her great aunt and uncle Gwen Freeman and Melvin Brown, sister Latricia Moutry and her cousin Shelia Mattress.

She is survived in life by her parents Robert Panell Sr. And Zulenia Lamar as well as her Husband Thomas Delaney and her stepson Thomas Delaney Jr. also by her siblings Jamesena Tate, Latasha Tate, Angelel Hall, John Fisher,Robert Moutry, Quincy Moutry, Antonio Moutry, Orlando Moutry, and Gregory Hall. She is also survived in life by a host of relatives such as her great aunts, great uncle, her cousins, and her many nieces and nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 5, 2023 from 1-2:00 p.m. with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 2:00 p.m. at the Unity Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Andrew Osaku officiating.

The final resting place will be at the Mt. Olive Cemetery immediately following the service. A white dove release will conclude.
