Our hearts are truly heavy, but we know that God is able. Golden Nathaniel Smith Elementary School, was truly blessed to have Ms. Cookie as OUR cafeteria manager. She and her staff were "mothers, grandmothers, aunties" to many children everyday. She would correct students, and feed them as planned. My class today was in shock as I shared the news. Needless to say, family be encouraged during this time. Please know that Nick, her pride and joy, is in good hands. She smiled whenever he said "granny". May God bless you all. 🙏🏾 Rev. Marshall Magee, Jr. (Pastor/New Hope M.B. Church, 106 Hamilton St., Jackson MS, 39202) (G.N.Smith Elementary School).
