My condolences to the Haywood family. My mind takes me back when I was a teenager, in my old neighborhood of Vernon Street. Jimmy was older and he had a group of guys that he hung out with. The whole gang were great dressers. I would sit on my porch and watch the guys ride in cars following each other and dressed like they were attending a fashion show. As time moved on, I believe Jimmy was the last of that group. Everytime I saw him, it was a constant reminder of how men back then took pride in their appearances and had strong bonds among themselves. I will miss running into him at the grocery store or one of the other stores in town. One thing I can say, "I never saw him without looking like he was going somewhere special. I pray God will give the family peace during this time. I know you and the old gang are all together now, styling and profiling. RIP Jimmy! Lorraine Whitworth Jackson
