Shirley Ann Wade 79 of Comanche, TX passed away Thursday, February 16th, 2023.

Graveside services will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, February 20th, at the Vashti Cemetery in Vashti, TX.

Shirley was born November 29, 1943 in Burkburnett, TX to L.D. (Dee) and Verdie (Johnson) Reynolds. She graduated Burkburnett High and received a bachelor’s degree from Midwestern State University. She married Billy Abb Wade on April 23, 1965 in Burkburnett, TX. She was an elementary school teacher for 39 years. Shirley taught in Burkburnett, City View in Wichita Falls, and Granbury ISD in Granbury, TX. She retired from teaching and relocated to Comanche, TX. Shirley was a Christian and actively shared the gospel of Jesus Christ to nearly everyone she ever met. She was a loving mother. Friend to all!

She is preceded in death by her parents Dee and Verdie Reynolds. Also, her husband of 49 years Billy Abb Wade.

Shirley is survived by two sons Ron Wade of Comanche, TX, and Richard and wife Stephanie Wade of Comanche, TX; three sisters, Dorothy and husband Robert Palmer of Iowa Park, TX, Rita and husband Ross Terrell of Burkburnett, TX, and Nita Robbins of Henrietta, TX. Plus, many nieces and nephews!

Arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home of Bowie.
