Obituary For Pastor Michael Anthony Pace

Pastor Michael Anthony Pace, Senior Pastor of the Lordship of Christ Christian Church, Inc. (LCCCI) in Fayetteville, GA, was called from earthly labor to heavenly reward on Sunday morning, February 12, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Pastor Pace led an extraordinary, mission focused life - one dedicated to family and fulfilling the Great Commission of Christ - and the other, encouraging and mentoring other pastors and preachers, "A Preacher's Teacher."

Pastor Pace was born and raised in Cedartown, Georgia to the late Clifford Earl, Sr. and Lula Mae Thompson Pace on February 05, 1958. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his two brothers, Clifford Earl, Jr. and Larry Joe Pace.

Pastor Michael Pace graduated from Cedartown High School in 1976 where he was a member of the varsity basketball and track teams. Because of his desire to mature in Christian character, study the Word of God, and lead God's people in the ways of God, he continued his education at Carver Bible College in Atlanta, GA where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Bible. He also earned a Master of Divinity from Luther Rice Bible College and Seminary in Lithonia, GA.

Pastor Pace was the visionary leader in the establishment of the Lordship of Christ Christian Church in January 2000. His other ministerial appointments included serving as the Senior Pastor of Union Grove Baptist Church (Union City, GA); Berry Grove Baptist Church (Cedartown, GA); and Tabernacle Baptist Church (Sonoraville, GA). Other areas of Pastor Pace's work experience included the Atlanta Journal & Constitution (Cox Enterprises) in the Advertising Department and Hale Manufacturing (Cedartown, GA). The fun and relaxed Pastor Pace loved riding his motorcycle and working on old cars.

Pastor Pace is survived by his high school sweetheart and devoted wife of 47 years, Sandra Pryor Pace; son, Michael Adrian Pace (Fayetteville, GA); daughter, Meiisha Alieta-Etreece Pace (Dallas, TX); sister, Annette Johnson (Cedartown, GA); brother-in-laws - Harvey Pryor, Jr. (Denise) Cedartown, GA; Darrell Pryor (Tina) Cedartown, GA; sister-in-laws: Meredith Murray (Alvin) Macon, GA; Denita Pryor, Fayetteville, GA; and Pamela Walker (Dennis), Ellenwood, GA; Nina Pace (Columbus, OH) and three precious granddaughters - Makayla Denise, Shamiyah Maria, and Aisha Elyse Pace. Pastor Pace will be fondly remembered by other relatives including numerous aunts (two dear to his heart - Mattie Ruth Gibbs and Mary Ann Albert) uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
