Obituary For Willie Frank Gaines Jr.

Willie Frank Gaines Jr., 85, of Sarasota, FL, passed away on January 27, 2023. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Fri., Feb. 10, 2023 at Bethel C.M.E Church. Services will be held 1:00pm on Sat., Feb. 11, 2023 at Light of the World International Church. Burial will be held on Mon., Feb. 13, 2023 at Sarasota National Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Jones Funeral Home.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Diane; four sons, Bernard (Salli) Gaines, Malcolm Tibbs, Jamal Gaines, and Timothy (Frankie) Dawkins; a daughter, Jer-Rika Green, all of Sarasota, FL; two brothers, Leon (Renita) Dixon of Miami, FL and Marvin (Becky) Gaines of Atlanta, GA; three sisters, Loreda (Arthur) Williams and Lynne Thomas both of Sarasota, FL and Cynthia (Morris) Myers of Bradenton, FL; brother-In-law, Baylou (Olympia) of Sarasota, Fl; two sisters-in law, Precious Reid of Sarasota, FL and Shirley Dixon of Chattanooga, TN; special cousins, Frankie Collier and Emma Lou Oxford; special friends, Pastor J. L Pitts, Baylou, Jerry Stevenson, Dole Hill, Aaron Hunter (AA), and Derrick Worrels; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
