OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Joseph Goodwin, 67, who entered eternal rest on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at his residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.

Mr. Goodwin leaves to cherish his memories: his common law wife, Sandra Chachere of Opelousas, LA; step son, Derrick Brown of Houston, TX; step daughter, Brittany Babino (Issac) of Opelousas, LA; ten step grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Mr. Goodwin is preceded in death by his parents, Evan and Audry Goodwin and two step sons, Marcus and Jerome Brown.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
