Herbert Warren

( November 2, 1942 --January 30, 2023 ) FRANKSTON---The Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Herbert Warren, 80, Frankston will be 1:00 PM, Saturday at Faith Temple Church of Deliverance, Frankston, with Pastor Richard McCowin serving as the officiant and Pastor Lonnie Ross delivering the eulogy.

Interment will follow in Pine Springs Cemetery under the direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Co. Mr. Warren transitioned January 30, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

Herbert was born November 2, 1942, in Frankston, Texas to the late Isaiah and Beulah (Stubblefield) Warren. He received his education through Pleasant Ridge and Neches Schools. He was a lifelong resident of Henderson County and served as Chairman of the Deacon board at Pine Springs Baptist Church under pastoral leadership of Rev. Lonnie Ross.

In his spare time, Herbert worked in carpentry—specializing in cabinetry. He loved gardening. During early adulthood he gave back to the community by coaching baseball. Being the provider he was, Herbert worked for Curtis Mathis Industries for thirty years, retired, and began working with Jacksonville Independent School District an additional twenty years until he resigned. He was a hard worker.

Fifty- six years ago, Herbert united in matrimony to Susie M. (Davis) Warren and this union bore three sons: Michael, Lee, and Calvin; and one daughter: Geneva.

Awaiting his Heavenly arrival are his parents; one brother: Isaiah Warren, Jr.; three sisters: Marnada Blanton, Margie Nell McCowan, and Loretta Unwind.

Left to cherish his precious memories are wife, Susie M. Warren, Frankston; children, Michael (Rose) Warren and Geneva Bagley both of Frankston, Lee (Daphne) Warren, LaRue, and Calvin Warren, Frankston; nine grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; sister: Betty Davis, Flint; sisters-in-law, Rosie Warren, Tyler and Jo Guthrie Davis, Frankston; brothers-in-law, Welton (Minnie) Davis, Dallas, Jimmie (Mary) Davis, Tyler, Wilmon (Annie) Davis, Frankston, TX; a former son-in-love whom he adored, Raymond Bagley, Frankston; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be Friday, 2- 8 PM at John R. Harmon Undertaking Co.
