PUBLIC VISITATION for Mrs. Prowell was Friday, February 10, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Lavender’s Funeral Service.

THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY of Mrs. Iva Mae Prowell of Birmingham, Alabama was Saturday, February 11, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 601 Baptist Line Road in Aliceville, Alabama. The body of Mrs. Prowell was in state in the church one hour prior to the service.

INTERMENT was in Hopewell Cemetery, 4892 Ridge Road in Columbus, Mississippi. Reverend Timothy L. Martin, Sr. , Pastor of First Baptist Church was The Eulogist.

FOR THE HEALTH & SAFETY OF EVERYONE MASKS WERE REQUIRED. .

Individuals who are immune compromised, elderly, at high risk for severe illness, or currently ill were encouraged to remain at home.
