We are deeply saddened by the life transition of our beloved sister in the LORD. She loved the LORD and was deeply spiritual and sensitive to the things of God! We've known Cardetta and family for many years. Her family and ours grew closely together in the Air Force community and spiritually at the Tabernacle of Prayer in Goldsboro N.C. We were separated for some years geographically due to military assignments, however we reconnected at times. It was always a joy to share our memories together in ministry and times together with the family. Our most recent time of sharing was precious. We were looking forward to spending more time together on a regular basis. As we shared just a few weeks ago, she was looking forward to retiring. We are sure retirement with the LORD is extremely more precious than any earthly retirement. However, on the earth, we miss her dearly! Our hearts longs and goes out to her children, Christianne, Sherri, Brice, Amy, and Jessica, along with her grandchildren whom she loved so dearly! Our prayers are with you as you remember her Love and celebrate her life! Cregg, Gwen, Jason & Britney Chandler

Sister Wilson was my Pastor during a pivotal time in my faith walk and personal life. I always knew she genuinely cared for me. I remember being in her home, when her children were little, and I admired her family and they way they loved people. Her reward in heaven is great because she was so faithful to the call on her life. I will hold the memory of her in my heart and look forward to rejoice with her on the other side. "Precious in the sight of the Lord are the death of His Saints."

I Remember when I first met Cardetta. I thought my Brother had married a really Beautiful Lady. There was something on the inside of her coming through to the outside that just shown on her like the Sun. I liked her from the start and always have to the end. I considered her my Sister and Friend. Yes she was my Sister-in-law but I felt so comfortable with her. A Humble but Beautiful woman whom God Graced with His Spirit. As she birthed my Nieces and Nephew I grew to Love her as a part of Our Family as she was a good Mother to her Babies. I have to smile looking back on a Bermuda Trip that our Family made in 1994, not knowing that Me and Cardetta would end up Pregnant at the same time giving birth to Daughters both born in April weeks apart and both born in 1995. I was sad to know her and Devi parted but she would always be part of our Family to me. Unfortunately with time and busy lives we didn't keep in touch as much but I always still felt the same she was part of the Wilson Family. I will miss her, her Beautiful smile, Sweet disposition and Warm Spirit. I am thankful to have known her. I and our Family will continue to Love and be here for Her and Devi's Children and Grands until the end. We love you Cardetta, may your Soul rest in Peace. Until that Great Day when we shall see each other again!!!Love Yvonne,Jr. and Gram(Mom Margaret)

I am still in disbelief that Cardetta is no longer here on earth, but has transitioned to be with her heavenly father. She was a very, very special lady and friend not only to me but my entire family and many others! I/we loved her so much. She was so sweet, so supportive, and always kept a smile. I've always admired her love for her children. She was a true role model and will be truly missed. Her legacy will live on through her children, who are also admirable. We will continue to love and pray for her children, grandchildren, and family! Your work is well done. Rest in Paradise Cardetta! Sharon Taybron Jones
