At Cleveland High School Pink was always full of fun. We knew he was coming when heard that big Pontiac roaring!😃 We always looked to him to help beat out our arch rival, Cherryville in the football game, along with the late WC Clinton, Joe Borders and Eugene 'Jack' Young.🤗 After being away for many years I came back for the Funeral of my late Nephew, Dwayne Maddox and saw Pink Bell. "Pink!" I yelled. "Cuban Hawk!" He shouted out. We had a grand reunion right at Dwayne's house! 😆 It's the last down Pink, so reach up and snag that Game Winning Pass right up into God's Heaven!!😇 Mel 'Cuban Hawk' DeGree Class of 1956

To the family of Mr Pink Bell. You have my deepest sympathy in the loss of your love one. He was a treasure to his family and the community thru his many years of service and longevity of life. The Bible teaches us that we are promised three score and ten (70 years) and by reasonable strength four score(80years). We all can see how blessed Mr Bell was and how God showed him favor. Mr Bell had a kind heart and compassion for people. He would often reach out to me in person or on the phone. One particular time was when I was at wake forest burn hospital. He called me and that just made my day. So family as time goes on may the love of God and his Holy Spirit comfort you in the days to come. Love You, Larry Hosch and family
