Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free, I'm following the path Jehovah laid for me. I took his hand when I heard his call, I turned my back and left it all.
Mr. Earl Bryant, Sr., age 76, of Warrenton, North Carolina died on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Duke Hock Pavillion in Durham, North Carolina. Remains rest at Boyd & Royster Funeral Services.
Earl Bryant Sr. was born February 22, 1946, to the late Pauline and Robert Bryant in Warren County, NC and departed this life on January 17, 2023. Earl attended Hawkins High School and went on to become a successful entrepreneur. He was a very skilled brick masonry contractor. He worked on many projects such as hospitals, prisons, schools, libraries just to name a few. He met and married his wife, Barbara A. Richardson in 1963. From that union, one son was born, Earl Bryant Jr. Earl was an avid sports lover, he especially loved fishing of all kinds and baseball. Earl wanted to learn more about his creator and had many questions about life. In search of answers to his questions, he wanted to know the truth from the Bible. He visited the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and a Bible study was started, and after he gained the knowledge of his creator and learned what was required of him from his heavenly father, he was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on February 15, 1976. His love of the truth and his love for Jehovah God, impressed upon him the desire to tell others what he had learned. The precious relationship he developed with God moved him to help all he could, even with declining health, he would come on Zoom and contact friends and neighbors and share the wonderful future that God has in store for mankind. He is preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Hawkins (Richmond, VA) and three brothers, Tony Bryant, Robert Bryant and Lou Evan Bryant (Warrenton, NC). Earl leaves to cherish his loving memory, his wife, Barbara Richardson Bryant of the home, his son Earl Bryant Jr of Manson, NC, his siblings, Burnice Bryant, Silver Springs, MD, James Bryant (Della), Warrenton, NC, William Bryant (Brenda), Knightdale, NC, Mary Brown(Fred) Norlina, NC, Patricia Junious( Mack) Rock Hill, SC, Pauline Shearin (Reginald) Henderson, NC, Gloria Bryant, Warrenton, Betty Wiggins (Kevin) Tarboro, NC.
