Colin had a love for adventure and was never afraid to face life’s challenges. He often threw caution to the wind in his fearlessness. During his high school years, Colin focused this energy on athleticism, showing prowess in football, basketball, and running track. He excelled at everything he set his mind to. While Colin was often quiet-natured, those who knew him can attest to his expansive sense of humor; his personality was larger than life. He had a smile that could light up any room. Colin was very family oriented and a dedicated father to his children. He was a fierce protector, and a faithful friend, and will be remembered for his wit, contagious laughter, and generous and protective nature.

Colin leaves a large family to cherish his memory: His father Colin Ricketts Sr., two children: Chasidy Ricketts and Cassius Billie of Clewiston, FL; five siblings: Kennedy Hallock (husband Jared) of Larchmont, NY; Shavone Ricketts of South Bay, FL; Devin McFarlane (wife Keyonne) of Starke, FL; Nicole Ricketts and Marcus Ricketts of Clewiston, FL. Colin was deeply loved and will be just as deeply missed. Please honor his memory by paying forward generosity in whatever way moves you. Prioritize spreading dazzling smiles and robust laughter throughout the day. Always lead with confidence in ambitious pursuits. Let his memory invoke reciprocal action as we reflect on the good in his lifetime.
