Mr. Alari Shaunti’ “Shawn” Chambers, 38 of Shelby, NC departed this life on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Atrium Health-Cabarrus in Concord, NC. He was born on May 31, 1984 in Cleveland County, NC to Patrice Chambers Hamilton and the late Jonathan Robinson.

“Shaun” was a 2002 graduate of Shelby High School where he was a member of the basketball team. He was currently employed with Auriga Polymers in Spartanburg, SC. Shaun who was so full of life will be remembered for his outgoing, fun, talkative personality. He was an electronic guru who loved playing video games and he was also King of the Air Force One’s!

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Howard Chambers.

He leaves to cherish his memory to his mother, Patrice Hamilton (Curtis); his daughter, Anaya Sanders; grandparents, Reola Jamerson and Robert and Dorothy Robinson; his siblings, Lucillia Roberts, Walter Ussery, Marchanti Davenport (Renaldo), Maurice Ussery, Jr., Candi Ussery, Curtis McDowell, Latisha McDowell, Anthony Hamilton and Brittany Hopper; favorite aunt and uncle, Crystal and Quinn Boyce; finaceé, Shene Caldwell and children, Markaylah Dickie and Najir Rasheed and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM and at other times at 605 N. Post Rd. Shelby.
