Obituary For Diane Patterson-Staff
Diane Annette Patterson-Staff, 64, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She went to be with Jesus on Monday, January 9, 2023, surrounded by her loving family at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
She was a 1976 graduate of Harrisburg High School where she participated in cheerleading, softball, gymnastics, senior class committee and prep club. Diane worked for over 25 years as the Executive Administrative Assistant to the regional Director of Merakey. She enjoyed youth sports where she was secretary for numerous years with the M.O.S. E.L.F. baseball organization, Team Trainer and Team Mom to the AAU basketball Central Penn Ballers organization. She was also a licensed Cosmetologist.
Diane was preceded in death by her loving father, Theodore Patterson, Sr.; her brother, Theodore Patterson, Jr.; her grandmother, Nettie Strand; her grandfather, George Strand and her uncle, Herbert Strand. She is survived by her husband, Jerome Staff; her children, Romecia Patterson, Jerel Patterson, Jerome Staff, Jr., Brianne & Louis Robinson, Crystal & Steven Welch; her mother, Dorothy Patterson, all of Harrisburg; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Norman & Mary Patterson, Robert & Marva Patterson and Brian & Anita Patterson; her granddaughter, Ava Jolie Patterson; her aunt, Geraldine Avery of Middletown Pennsylvania; her uncles, George Strand, Jr. & Paulette of Williamstown, gNew Jersey .William & Sylvia Strand of Newcastle, Delaware; her nieces, nephews, cousins, her precious pets, Mister & Mercury, her many friends and associates.
Her life will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 12 Noon in the Sanctuary of The Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 212 N. Progress Avenue, Harrisburg, with viewing and visitation 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
COVID-19 Guidelines will be observed with face masks for all attendees.
