Ms. Evelyn Brooks, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Beacon Place.

Funeral will be held Thursday, January 12, 2023 12pm Shiloh Baptist Church. 11:30am Visitation.

Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.

I met Evelyn Brooks back in the late 80's at Hayes Memorial Unite Holy Church, 1515 Willow Rd, Greensboro, now known as HW Fields Cathedral. Evelyn was one of the members of the HW Fields Celestial Choir members. She was and has always been kind, humble and sweet. It truly hurts my heart that so many members of this great institution and family church have passed on.
