Funeral Services for Ms. Rebie Battle, of Atlanta, will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023, 12:00 NOON, at New St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 1027 Thurman Rd., Stockbridge, GA., with remains placed in repose at 11:00 A.M. The Reverend J.L. Henderson, Pastor, Officiating. Interment, South-View Cemetery, Atlanta, GA. A Public Viewing and Visitation will be held at the mortuary Friday, January 6, 2023, 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, William Paul (Gylnda-Etchison) Burson, of Stonecrest, GA., and Terry (Moni) Burson, of Hampton, GA., two brothers, Robert Lee Battle, and George Battle, of Atlanta GA.; and a host of special nieces, nephews and great-nieces, great-nephews. Also a host of family and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence Saturday, at 11:00 A.M.

WOW! Just ran across the notice! Rebbie and I went to the High School, later, the same church, we too were employed by the same employer. Rebbie was a kind person, who use to laugh at all my silly jokes, she had a very distinct laugh too. As life would have it, we parted ways. Though, it's been a while since I saw Rebbie, some people you never forget, She is one one of those people! My Condolences to the family. Good Night my Sister! Good Night!❤Rest in Peace❤
