Randolph Timothy Witherspoon, 77, died Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Blue Carter VA Hospital, Miami Fl. He was born April 27, 1945, in Manning, SC. A son of the late Booker T. Witherspoon and Margaret Gibson Witherspoon.

Memorial Services will be held 11:00AM Monday, January 23, 2023 at Hayes F. Samuels, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 North Church St. Manning, SC. Pastor Cornell Witherspoon, Officiating.

Sylvia WItherspoon Jackson-I write this with sincere sadness. Randy was my first love! I met him when I was fourteen and he was working in the grocery store and playing basketball. He was so handsome. We were married when I was seventeen and he was twenty-one years old. I remember going fishing many times with him in Miami and in Montana. He loved to fish! We traveled to Germany, Maryland and Montana while he served our country, first in the Army then in the Air Force. Together we produced two beautiful daughters, Tamika Latresha and Lorie Ranette. I always have had and always will have a special warm place in my heart for him.
