Obituary For Ronny Dwaine Karl

Ronny Dwaine Karl, 63 of Bowie, TX, passed away on Tuesday, December 13th, 2022.

A memorial service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 16th, at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie, with Richard “Snip” Allen officiating.

Ronny was born December 25th, 1958 in Breckenridge, TX to Hollis and Mazelle (Kramer) Karl. He graduated from Bowie High School in 1977, and attended Cook County College. On January 11th, 1986, Ronny married Carla Miller in Bowie, TX.

As a younger man, Ronny worked alongside his stepfather in the family seed business, and for Berend Brothers in Bowie. Ronny then went to work in maintenance for the Bowie Independent School District, and retired in 2020. He was passionate about his work, and truly loved what he did. In his free time, Ronny enjoyed collecting coins, working in his yard, and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his father, Hollis Karl and grandparents.

Ronny is survived by his wife, Carla Karl of Bowie; mother, Mazelle Gann and husband Ralph of Bowie; brothers, Monty Karl of Paradise, TX, Clay Gann and wife Laura of Rockwall, TX, Cody Gann of Bowie, Darron Karl and wife Jeannie of Abilene, TX and Derrick Karl and wife Valerie of Breckenridge, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
