Michael Anthony Johnson, “Cowboy” age of 59 of Rock Hill, SC passed away on December 10, 2022, in Rock Hill, SC.

Visitation for Mr. Michael Johnson will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022, from 6:00 PM until 8PM at Ebenezer Baptist Church 290 S. Herlong. Rock Hill, SC.

Funeral service time at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Ebenezer Baptist Church Baptist Church, Rock Hill, SC. Interment will follow at Rock Hill Memorial Garden, Rock Hill, SC.

Rest in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ we don't know went or where what hour He is coming back. we all must be ready for the day to come to here the voice of the Lord because it is going to mean something to here the Lord when all nations meet him and He says well Done thu good and faithful servant or Depart from me for I never knew you.Jesusus real and eternity is real also the Bible tells us. No men women boy or Girl knows the day nor the hour He shall return. what a time coming up on this world.The Lord want us to live closer to him as if we every had lived closer.Lifetime is getting shorted day by day minute by minute for all nation.For there is no time to play around with our Heavenly Father for the trumpet shall sound for us all he know all things. I extend my prayers and sincere condolences to the entire family of Michael "Cowboy" Johnson. I met him many years ago, when I first came to Rock Hill. He was a kind, comedic guy and a die-hard Redskins fan, who always met everyone with a smile on his face. I know this is especially hard for Tori and his other children, because they had a very close relationship with their father. I most recently saw him at my husband's Steve) homegoing service. I was met with that same signature, infectious smile he was always known for. He will definitely be missed. I pray that you all are comforted and have peace in knowing that he is now resting in the arms of our savior Jesus Christ. I pray that in the difficult days ahead, when you are sad, you will think of a fond memory you have of Mike and it will give you solace, until you meet again. I only met him once in person he was to paint for us, he was very polite and friendly. He exhibited a kindness and everyone who knew him including our children and son-in-law said he was an awesome person. Very since I heard of his death we've prayed for his family. My sincerest condolences to Angie and the family. Cowboy was a huge Redskins/Commanders fan. I met through the Carolina Redskins Group. I saw him when he traveledup here to the DMV for home games.He was one of the nicest and kindest persons I have met. May God comfort you all and heal your hearts with time. Tela Jones

So sorry for your family's loss.Cowboy was a one of a kind I knew him from working in the same trade as Cowboy (painting).He was really a great guy never heard him ever speak ill of anyone .He always had a smile on his face .Earth's loss Heavens gain .may you all find peace in knowing he is resting in the Arms of Jesus.
