Emma--as I knew her--was such a wonderful friend to me. Emma and I worked together at the Rutherford County Food Bank in the 80's and 90's and bonded for life. When my husband ran for Mayor, she stood out in the polls where he was not the "favorite" candidate and campaigned for him. The oposition was--well, vocal and she kept saying..."It was ROUGH!" She stood by us always. Such a special person. As previously noted, "Her smile could light up a room." Love and hugs to her darling family, who she adored.
