Darion Pasco Lane

The Life, Love, and Legacy Darion Lane, known to everyone as "Daboo” was opened on October 14, 1969 in Fort Pierce, Florida to the late Pasco Lane and Bertha Collins-Hart. He received his basic education in Saint Lucie County Schools. Darion was an outgoing, outspoken, loving gentleman with anyone he came into contact with. Darion was a man of many talents and traits. Some included cooking, hosting Super Bowl Parties, a football enthusiast, and networking. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and close friends.

Darion was a dedicated car detailer who loved his customers and he also worked as a landscaper with his cousin Bernard Collins. With his siblings Darion was introduced and found Christ at an early age at Saint Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church. He was preceded in death by his father: Pasco Lane; stepfather: Alfred Hart; sisters: Rose Ann Cooper, Gussie L. Quinney, Mary Barber, Carolyn Hart, and Cynthia Scales; brother: Bernard Jones; grandparents: Maggie M. Green, Andrew J. Collins, Rebecca Jenkins, Rossie Green, and Mose Morris; aunt: Dorothy M. Blackshear; cousins: Gloria Blackshear, Angelina Blackshear, Darion Blackshear, Bertina Harris, Vertonia King, Shanice Blackshear, Jeffrey Blackshear, and Julia M. Collins.

Left to cherish his memories a devoted mother: Bertha Collins-Hart; his loving children: Zacceaus Lane, Jamarius Briggs, Demia Lane; grandchildren: Za'Niya, Za'Kyre, and Khaza; sisters: Vernica Lane, Latrina Lane and Pamela (Jimmy) White; brothers: Billy (Mira) Lane, Jerome (Moneek) Lane, Patsy Brown, Alfred Jr. (Moneek) Hart; nieces: Aesha, Shaikiara, Ariel, Ashley, Billisha, Bakita, Ebony, Porsha, Jaylen, Sharonda, Tammy, Tasha, and Michelle; nephews: Antwon, Sterling, Travon, Kynyodda, Deonta, Davarius, Lorenzo, Kentrail, Billy Jr., Antwan, Antravious, Markell, and Niair; very close cousins: Bernard (Felecia) Collins, Stanley (Joyce) Blackshear, Cecelia (Damian) Richardson, Linda (Michael) Leslie, and Dorothy A. Blackshear; his closest friends: Denied Hagens, Tyrone Ponder, Marvin Scott, Stefan Cooper, Nate Bryant, Phalith “Lit” Louanphom, Travis Wilcox, Charles Gray, John Brown, Rick Reed, Ivan Eckles, Keith and Kevin.

Public visitation for Darion Pasco Lane will take place on Friday, December 9, 2022 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral services will convene on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Saint Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 11:00am. Burial will immediately follow in Riverview Memorial Park.
