Obituary For Willie "Catfish" Smiley Sr.

Mr. Willie Henry Smiley Sr. known to many as “Catfish” passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 19, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa with Pastor Monty Montgomery, officiating. Mr. Willie Henry Smiley Sr. was born August 15, 1967, in Tampa Florida to the late Leroy Smiley and Sara Savage. He attended Hillsborough County public schools, with his career pathway leading him into construction as a general laborer. He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Smiley, two sisters, Pricilla Gay and Judith Snell. He leaves to cherish his fondest memories; children: Terrance Smiley, Wille Smiley Jr. and wife Brittany, Keno Smiley and wife Kendra, and Travis Smiley, his loving mother: Sara Savage and husband Austin; brothers: Anthony Smiley, Greg, Ralph, and Leroy Smiley Jr.; sisters: Mary Byrd and husband Timothy, Rose Smiley, Gloria Speed and husband Derrick; nieces and nephews: Teyaqua, Leondre, Antoneisha, Willie, Natilia, Micheal, Sgt. 1st Class Denario Byrd and wife Quinndora, Kendra, Thomas Jr. and wife Jennifer, Kenjada, Julius Jr. Edwin Jr. Edwineshia, Jaurean, Shaquesta and Debra; devoted friends Darryl, James and Richard, and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022, 6-8 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Services.
